Glass artist Matthew Adkins trained in glass and ceramics before working in architectural glass. He now designs and makes his own decorative glass art, employing many of the techniques used in the architectural glass industry to create truly stunning and unique pieces.
Matthew uses float glass in his work, using using powders and frits to create the colours. Each piece will be fired at temperatures of over 800 degrees centigrade for up to 20 hours at each firing.
